Creating unimaginable opportunities for adults with disabilities.

Unique person-centered care for adults with disabilities.

We build on the foundation of physical activity and life skills (PALS). Our numerous person-centered programs are designed to create opportunities and success for the individuals with disabilities that we work with. Our programs offer individuals the necessary tools they need to be active members of the community and maintain a high quality of life.

We have 6 in-person care centers and offer in-home care in the Columbus, Gallia and South Point areas.

In-Person Care

Individuals that join our in-person care programs are offered opportunities in the following key areas: education, vocation and community outings. Our programs are choice-based offering individuals' activities that are best suited for their needs and skills each day.

In-Home Care

Our in-home care/residential programs support individuals in leading happy, healthy and productive lives in their own homes and communities. Withing our in-home care we offer two programs: Homemaker/Personal Care and Shared Living Care.

Art Outside the Lines

Our art program, Art Outside the Lines offers individuals a create outlet and space to move, express and create. Individuals who join this program are given the opportunity to work independently or in a group setting to create artwork.

Mental Health Services

The behavioral and mental health of the individuals we serve is paramount to meeting their optimal levels of success and happiness. PALS works collaboratively with their sister agency, Chrysalis Health Ohio, to provide individualized evidence-based treatment to support them in achieving their greatest level of well-being.

These services can range from counseling clients with mild situational concerns to those with severe psychiatric disorders.

“I like PALS because my teachers take us on outings and we get paid at PALS when there’s cleaning to do.”

— William, PALS Gallia

PALS has grown to provide direct programing to 12 Ohio counties and in-direct services and support to all 88 counties in the state. We have six in-person care centers, one art studio, and three in-home care programs in Columbus, Gallipolis and South Point.
